Ted Lyke, Vice President
Born and raised in Minnesota, Ted committed his life to the Lord at Jesus People Church in Minneapolis MN in 1976, After 4 years of volunteer service and study Ted joined the pastoral staff in 1979 where he served as a National Crusade Director for Roger Vann Ministries and was ordained in 1980. In 1980-82 the crusade directing took on an International perspective, first with Roger Vann Ministries and then, in 1982 with Nicky Cruz Outreach. During the 4 years that Ted was involved with supporting and directing Crusades, 1979-82, nearly 180,000 persons made decision for Christ in crusades the spanned the USA, Canada, Mexico Central America, Africa, the Philippians and India.
In 1983 Ted Lyke and Mark Anderson Founded and successfully Pioneered the Camden Church in North Minneapolis MN (Currently Mark is the International Director of Impact World Tours of YWAM) In the 2 years that Ted and Mark worked together, the church grew from start up to 400 persons and many local and international evangelistic outreaches where completed.
In Sept of 1985, Ted Lyke and his family moved to Colorado Springs Colorado where he spent 14 years as a Lay Minister. Ted was doing full time secular work while serving as a church Elder, Men’s Bible study leader, President of one and then fund raising chairman for another Christian school board. He served as a board member for a Contemporary Christian radio station, promoted several Contemporary Christian music Concerts, and did some interesting Evangelism outreach in a secular teenage dance club.
For several years he was a member of New Life Church. And has ministered in churches and conferences around the world.
In Nov of 1999 as empty nesters, Ted and his wife Nancy moved full time to Florida and joined Christian Life Fellowship Church in Cape Coral, Florida. Today he serves that church, CLF, as an Elder, and is actively involved in Evangelism and Mission Working with Master Builders and the SW Florida Christian chamber of commerce.
Ted Has been married to his wife Nancy for 32 years, they have three adult children who all love God and want to serve people with their lives.
